DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EVENTS:
Friday, May 3rd: Anyone who is traveling in this night or happens to be in the area, please stop by the Ohio Building from 7:30 PM - 10:30 PM for a casino night (672 Ohio St, Terre Haute, IN 47807)! Each participant will get a pre-set amount of chips at the beginning of the night and free to play any casino games spread throughout the Ohio Building! Top chip holders at the end of the night will win door prizes. Everyone is welcome to play but if casino games are not your style there will be a reception with memorabilia and seating as well as a cash bar and finger food to provide a chance for brothers to socialize. Come enjoy a casino and the company of others!
Saturday, May 4th: Starting at 9 AM is the first tee off for the annual Rho Phi Open at the Hulman Links! Coffee and donuts will be provided before tee-off! If you want to play be sure to sign up, there are only 48 spots. Currently, the chapter has also made accommodations to provide tours of Rose-Hulman's campus. There have been numerous recent upgrades to the campus and this is an opportunity to return to your stomping grounds! This would be a free option where rides will leave from the Ohio Building at 10:30 AM. For wives and girlfriends, when the tours are finished, a museum walking tour has been planned in the local Terre-Haute area (brothers are welcome to attend as well). The walking tour will leave from the Ohio Building at 1 PM and will go to the: Clabber Girl Museum, History Center of Vigo County, and Swope Art Museum. A lunch break paid for individually will take place during the Clabber Girl Museum visit. This walking tour will return around 4 PM. From 5 PM - 6 PM there will be a reception at the Ohio Building with some appetizers and drinks before the dinner. At 6 PM we will have the Pig Dinner in the Ohio Building. After the dinner is over, upstairs will be open for a reception and a semi-formal with cash bars and desserts!
Sunday, May 5th: The chapter is renting out a venue to provide brunch from 10 AM - 1 PM. Brunch will be paid for individually. The chapter is still finalizing the location of this event but be sure to check for updates!
Over the whole weekend feel free to drop by the house and see what life is like on South 6th Street!
There are many tickets/donations available on this web-page. Be sure to check each ticket out and read its description! This is imperative so the chapter can get a good head count and know which brothers and dates will be attending.
Donations are well appreciated to help fund this event. Look into the 1848 club on rosefiji.com for more details or contact graduate brother Wes Bolsen at firstname.lastname@example.org (650-387-9962).
